MEGRAME has won its sixth and seventh gold medals from the prestigious Lithuanian product of the year competition held by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists. The award for innovation and quality this year went to MEGRAME’s Euro 110 Modified and Gealan S9000 passive house windows.

Increasing energy prices and stricter energy-efficiency policies have driven demand for energy-saving or passive house, solutions, including the passive house windows EURO 110 Modified (timber) and Gealan S9000 (PVC). Consumption rates for heating or cooling a passive house building must be nominal, with thermal transmission coefficient (U) not higher than 0,8 W/m2K for windows.
