The external aluminium cladding on our Euro78’ALU timber window greatly improves the life span of the product and reduces maintenance costs. It is perfect for more contemporary styled developments offering the natural warmth of timber internally, combined with the durability of aluminium externally. External aluminium can be powder coated to any RAL colour of your choice, engineered timber either stained or painted internally.

 

The Euro line windows offer easy cleaning & maintenance, as they open inwards. Euro78’ALU windows are available in double or triple glazing with excellent thermal and acoustic performance. All products are internally beaded improving security.

 

Triple glazed and argon filled Euro78’ALU window achieves 1.00 U value which is significantly better in comparison to standard double glazed windows.

 

The products of this line reach very good acoustic values and are perfectly suitable for houses close to busy roads or other high noise generating objects. Acoustic performance with standard glass unit – 35dB. The windows with 78 mm wide profile can reach up to Rw – 48 dB.

The values are tested for a 1230 x 1480 single opening window with 4 Low-E/14t/4/16t/4 Low-E argon filled glass unit, Ug=0.6, thickness 42mm.

Opening options

Fixed window

The fixed window can be coupled with all other EURO series window or door types. This allows formation of larger composite sections.

Tilt&turn window 

Tilt & turn windows offer superior insulation, security, easy cleaning & maintenance and venting.

Multi-point locking and dual weather-stripping satisfy the most demanding construction and architectural standards for security, strength, dealing, egress and insulation. A single lever handle controls all window functions.

Species of wood

Only engineered timber is used to manufacture Megrame windows and doors. This provides superior strength, stability and a knot-free finish – qualities for which our products are renowned.

Standard species of wood:

  • pine (finger-joint or clear faced)
  • oak
  • larch
  • meranti

Other species of traditional (eucalyptus, mahogany) or exotic (hemlock, oregon, white saraya) timber available upon request.

The timber used to manufacture our products is carefully selected and treated, and with correct installation and proper maintenance MEGRAME windows will last and give satisfaction for several decades

MEGRAME offers fully factory finished high quality timber windows and doors that have the convenience and durability provided by modern finishing technology with the excellence produced by highly skilled craftsmen.

The quality finish of MEGRAME timber windows is obtained using highest quality ecological spray applied, water based, micro-porous finishing system. The finishing coat is elastic and moves together with the wood as well as lets the wood breathe.

A wide variety of RAL and stain colours are available to meet our customers’ requirements. All of our paints and lacquers are environmentally friendly, ecologically clean and harmless to the environment.

Available combinations of window colour:

  • lacquer both sides;
  • lacquer one side and RAL colour other side;
  • RAL colour both sides;
  • different RAL colour on each side.
Glazing

Today’s glazing solutions offer incredible potential to create environments that are comfortable, cost-effective and sustainable.

At MEGRAME we offer a range of double and triple glazing with different performance characteristics – energy saving, solar control, noise reduction, safety, fire resistance.

Available glass unit spacers: aluminium, thermospacers Swisspacer and TGI (colours white or grey as standard).
